Tyler Forrest is a composer, music producer, artist, and filmmaker originally from Abita Springs, Louisiana, now based in Los Angeles. A multi-instrumentalist on guitar, piano, drums, and voice, he spent eight years hosting JamNation, a residency at the Rainbow Bar & Grill and Universal Bar & Grill — the experience that led to his first composing role, scoring Search and Destroy with Millennium Films.

As a music artist, Tyler is known as Rowdy Hop — a country crossover sound spanning country, hip hop, and rock. His music has been placed with MTV, CBS, The CW, Barefoot Wine, Starbucks, and TikTok Shop.

Tyler works across every genre he can get his hands on, and has produced hundreds of songs — his own and other artists' — running his own studio since he was young. What ties it together is the approach: he treats every session like a conversation, chasing the moment of creation and trusting instinct over second-guessing, whether he's scoring a scene or building a club record. Years of reps have made that instinct fast and fluid, not something he has to think twice about.

He spent two years designing and leading the music production course at EEI Creative Arts/MBC Academy, Saudi Arabia's largest media school. Today he owns and operates Rowdy Hop Records, discovering and producing artists in the community and handling distribution — rowdyhoprecords.com.
